Recent Development

The shapefile renderer is an optimized renderer specifically for rendering shapefiles. It by passes much of the overhead of using the Datastore API and directly attacks the Shapefiles in question.

Right now there is a limitation on the Filters it supports. There is an issue with spatial filters that needs to be addressed.

Module Status

The shapefile renderer module is stable, we could use some help adding support for spatial filters.
